Handcrafted with Precision

A One-of-a-Kind Natural Artwork

Each Lucimorph piece is assembled by hand, following museum-inspired preservation standards. Here's what goes into creating your artwork:

1. Species Selection We source only non-endangered blue morpho butterflies from ethical, sustainable farms. Every specimen is selected for wing quality and iridescence.

2. Wing Preparation The butterfly wings are carefully cleaned and treated with preservation coating to maintain iridescence and prevent deterioration over decades.

3. Frame Assembly The wooden box is hand-finished with antique-inspired hardware and soft velvet lining. Each detail is inspected for quality.

4. Butterfly Mounting Using specialized techniques, the butterfly is mounted beneath the glass lid at the optimal angle to showcase the iridescent wing structure. This requires precision and artisan skill.

5. Jewelry Compartment Arrangement The velvet-lined compartments are hand-arranged to complement the butterfly display and maximize storage functionality. The layout is unique to each piece.

6. Final Inspection Each piece undergoes rigorous quality inspection before packaging and shipping. We reject any piece that doesn't meet our standards.

Every step is meticulously completed by our artisans, ensuring the exceptional quality of Lucimorph. This is why every piece of Lucimorph is a true work of art.

The Time Investment The entire process takes hours—this is why each Lucimorph piece is truly artisan-crafted, not mass-produced. You're paying for time, skill, and precision.
